Message from ENTECH Zero Waste Forum to the World

ENTECH – Recycling Environmental Technologies and Zero Waste Exhibition welcomed 47 thousand industry professionals from the Balkans, CIS countries, Middle East, North Africa, Far East, Western Europe, America and Turkey on 10 thousand square meter area. Zero Waste Forum, which took place concurrently with the exhibition lasting for 4 days, gave this message: “Our lifestyles must be reviewed to use sources effectively”.
 
ENTECH – Recycling Environmental Technologies and Zero Waste Exhibition, which was organized by CNR Holding subsidiary Pozitif Trade Fairs and supported by the Ministry of Environment and Urbanization, the Ministry of Industry and Technology and KOSGEB (Small and Medium Enterprises Development Organization), welcomed its exhibitors and visitors at CNR Expo Istanbul Expo Center. At the Zero Waste Forum, which took place concurrently with the exhibition, the zero waste issue was discussed in every aspect with participation and speeches of First Lady Emine Erdoğan and Minister of Environment and Urbanization, Murat Kurum. Local and foreign speakers shared their opinions about the zero waste issue at the forum and gave this message: “Our lifestyles must be reviewed to use sources effectively”.
 
“We need source management, not waste management.”
 
The most important person of the exhibition and forum was the founder of World Zero Waste Union, Paul Connett, who is also known as the Father of Zero Waste. He made a presentation at the forum where “Is Zero Waste Possible?”, “Global Effect of Waste Management” and “Waste and Source Management for Industrial Sustainability” topics were discussed. He stated that this issue now became an agenda topic in the world and that Zero Waste exists with the combination of community responsibility and industrial responsibility. He also underlined that all industries need to redesign their processing stages from now on. Also expressing that better industrial designs are needed for the future, he said “Everybody can separate concurrently. We need source management, not waste management.” Scientists, academicians and bureaucrats such as Zero Waste Director Europe, Joan Marc Simon and Founder of Zero Waste Norway, Kristine Ullaland, also shared their knowledge and experience at the forum for a livable future.
 
47 thousand industry professionals were welcomed
 
One of the greatest organizations held for nature in Turkey, ENTECH  – Recycling Environmental Technologies and Zero Waste Exhibition welcomed 47 thousand industry professionals from the Balkans, CIS countries, Middle East, North Africa, Far East, Western Europe, America and Turkey on 10 thousand square meter area. Companies operating in solid waste, water and wastewater technologies, bioenergy, waste collection and carrier vehicles, recycling systems, recovery facilities and products, urban cleaning machinery, renewable and solar energy industries exhibited their products at ENTECH exhibition. Aiming to be the greatest organization of Eurasia in environmental technologies and zero waste areas, ENTECH Exhibition also drew attention with “Special Division on Renewable Energy and Solar Energy” organized for wind, sunlight, hydropower and geothermal energy industries.
