Abundance of international visitors

The exhibition was organized by Istanbul Trade Fairs, a CNR Holding company, in cooperation with the Turkish Ceramics Federation (TSF) and the Trade Association for Sanitary and Building Supplies (TIMDER) and took place on 100 thousand square meters area. Ali Bulut, the CEO of CNR Holding, stated that they were highly pleased with the international interest in the exhibition and added, "This year was a record year for UNICERA. There was a significant increase both in the number of visitors and in the size of the exhibition area. As with every fair, our goal in UNICERA is to provide the greatest support to our country's exports. In this respect, we have worked hard to increase the number of international visitors which we had exceeded our targets. There was great interest in the new products and collections presented by 1200 leading brands. The exceptionally exquisite and uniquely designed stands of the exhibiting companies deeply impressed the international buyers."

"UNICERA has served to establish many new partnerships"
Stating that their biggest goal in UNICERA was to compensate for domestic market shrinkage through exports, Aydın Eşer, the CEO of TİMDER, said, "We had the chance to hear how satisfied were the exhibitors with the increased number of international visitors. One in every four visitors in the exhibition was international. The increase in the number of international visitors generates foreign exchange inflow due to the increase in exports. When we look at the result, UNICERA has served to establish many new partnerships which will reflect positively in the export figures."

Noting that the industry's interest in the exhibition had increased parallel to the development in the ceramic industry, Erdem Çenesiz, the CEO of TSF,  said, "We expect even more increase in the number of international visitors in 2020. Our aspiration is to see UNICERA as the world's largest exhibition in ceramics and bathroom products."
