5 star chefs are competing in the “Ottoman Cuisine”!

Out-of-home consumption goods with the market size of reaching to $ 16 billion, are coming together between 28 and 31 March 2013 at the most comprehensive exhibition of Eurasia and the Middle East "for the first time".

 At the “Ottoman Cuisine competition” held by the support of Sine Fuarcılık, the chefs from five-star hotels will make an uphill struggle.The emergence of the market by the increasing habits of eating outside the home in Turkey, has reached a market size of 16 billion dollars today. The size of the worldwide market is said to be 2.3 trillion dollars. This new market in which all kinds of workplaces primarily including the hotels’ and restaurants’ cleaning, food products and consumables are supplied, is presumed as one of the ascendant sectors of the future. “EDT EXPO Out-of-Home Consumption Goods, Equipment, Consumables and Distribution Channel Suppliers Fair” to be organized with the support of Food Service Suppliers Association (ETÜDER) by Sine Fuarcılık under CNR Holding companies, will be held between 28 and 31 March 2013. At the Fair, that will be held at CNR Expo İstanbul over 20 thousand square meters area, the panels, the competitions and the tasting shows that are attended by famous names from the sector, will both inform and entertain the exhibitors and the visitors.

The Ottoman Palace Cuisine at EDT Expo..

“Ottoman Cuisine Contest” to be held under EDT Expo by the support of Sine Fuarcılık will bring the abundance of the Ottoman palace cuisine into present. The contest held by juries - Vedat Başaran, Ahmet Örs, Nedim Atilla, Osman Serim, Mehmet Yaşin, Özge Samancı and  Max Thamae, will be presenting the cultural richness of Ottoman cusine. A prize award will be given to the winners of the event where the chefs of Hilton Hotel Istanbul, Conrad Hotel Istanbul, Crown Plaza Asia, BTA Airport Hotel, Ceylan  Hotel Intercontinental, Rixos Hotel Istanbul, Sheraton Hotel Ankara, The Marmara Hotel Istanbul, Movenpick Hotel Istanbul Titanic Hotel Istanbul’s will compete.

EDT EXPO is also stands out with a variety of products. At the Fair; so many product groups ranging from food products like food and beverage to cleaning - hygiene materials and professional kitchen equipment, and the services of distribution channels can be seen by the visitors.
